Kevins new book is for the most part very educational and accurate. He first off addresses all the controversy over his past. Yes, he admits, he did spend time in jail for writing bad checks. And as Kevin admits this was in his past and does not make him a bad person. In this day with Martha Stewart and other famous criminals still popular, people realize that being convicted of a crime only means one got caught. Far many more people are also guilty of crimes yet never get caught.

Another key aspect is the bad press is in some ways connected to the fact that Kevin is going up against some powerful institutions: Drug Companies and the Federal Government. This alone is a way to get in trouble. Whether we like to admit it or not, we're all afraid of crossing powerful people and the institutions they work for.

Much of his advice is good, such as not taking anti-perspirants because they are full of aluminum which is linked to brain issues like Alzheimers. Kevin also recommends not taking sun block when in the sun - which is good advice since most all sun blocks can increase the risk of cancers of the skin. There are natural sun blocks that do not have toxic ingredients, such as Aubrey Organics and Skin Biology. One point he forgot was that not using sun blocks means you need to increase your intake of anti-oxidants to reduce damage from the skin.

Some of the advice I do not agree with are items like Coral Calcium. There is no scientific evidence that coral calcium works better than regular calcium. In fact Coral often has toxic metals since its built from old volcanic ash.
